Starting the day with bubbles
Lauren and her bridesmaids were full of excitement in the morning and enjoying glasses of fizz! Bridal preparation is always an exciting time of the day that I love capturing. As a photographer it’s important to arrive early and meet everyone so that they’re relaxed in front of the camera. Lauren made a special effort with the details by providing matching silk dressing gowns for her bridesmaids. Little touches like this really add to the sense of occasion and help make extra special photos.

Laughs and giggles during the ceremony
Saint Bede’s Catholic Church, which was just around the corner from the brides Mum’s house, was the ceremony venue. Lee was fairly calm as he waited for his bride’s arrival. One of the highlights of the ceremony had to be the bridesmaids singing the hymns. Giving it their all, the girls laughed and swayed from side to side during “Sing Hosanna”. Fun moments always make the best natural photographs! After the ceremony, guests congratulated the bride and groom outside as the sun was beaming. Saint Bede’s church featured a vibrant bright blue door which created a bold pop of colour perfect for the wedding photos. Setting off for Abbeywood Estate in style, Lauren and Lee departed in a bright red vintage wedding car. The gorgeous motor belonged to their family which is much more personal than simply hiring a car.
Beautiful wedding portraits
Capturing beautiful wedding portraits is a cornerstone of our photographic style. We like to keep all of our photos relaxed and natural. Even posed moments are best when there is something natural happening in the shot. A laugh, smile or just walking holding hands – there are so many natural moments to capture. The grounds at Abbeywood are perfect for our couples portrait session. There are lots of locations to take advantage of.

Abbeywood wedding reception
As soon as the newlyweds arrived at Abbeywood Estate we went for a walk around the grounds to capture some nice and relaxed portraits. With long grasses and stunning flowers, Abbeywood’s beautifully manicured garden gave the most serene background to my pictures of the happy couple. Wedding photography at Abbeywood Estate really is effortless. Everywhere you look is so picturesque! The estate’s Glasshouse is the perfect setting for a summer wedding reception. This impressive glass structure can hold up to 190 guests. On a gorgeously sunny day there was no better choice for the couple.
The details
Simple and sophisticated table decorations were complimented by amazing flowers from Frodsham Flowers. Lauren and Lee kept it classy with a three-tiered white wedding cake from Marks and Spencer. They used their beautiful bouquets as decorations which was a nice touch. As the Glasshouse lets in so much natural light, we captured natural moments during the speeches with ease. Sometimes it can be a challenge to photograph inside low lit venues. So this bright summer wedding was an absolute photographers dream. We also love the sunset pictures. Later on we captured a nighttime image of Lauren and Lee in the car park of Abbeywood Estate.
Ending the wedding with fun party pictures!
Abbeywood Estate’s wedding team did an excellent job of turning the room around swiftly ready for the evening party. Guess partied hard as the band Mojo Circus kept everyone on their feet. We will always stay after the first dance to photograph part of the evening party. Some wedding photographers leave right after the first dance or charge extra to stay later. We like to keep our wedding photography prices simple.
