Browsholme Hall is a fantastic venue for an autumn wedding. Some of our favourite photographs from the day were taken in the gardens under a canopy of leaves turning from green to orange. It’s a wonderful time of year for wedding photos with all the fantastic colours nature brings. We also love the Tithe Barn at Browsholme. This stone building adds rustic charm to wedding photos. Rachael and John were such a joy to photograph too, their sense of fun made their wedding one of our favourites.

The Big Reveal
At Shane Webber Photography we like to start the day photographing bridal preparation. We offer a full day package as standard. This covers from preparation right through to the evening party! The wedding day is special from beginning to end, and we want to capture as much of it as we can. Rachael and her bridesmaids got into the spirit of the occasion getting ready in matching dressing gowns whilst their hair and make up was done. This is one of our tips for getting the best bridal preparation photos. A little bit of forward planning can really make a difference. An image we love is of Rachael doing the ‘big reveal’. All of her bridesmaids were so excited! These are the pictures that couples really treasure after the wedding day. Natural photography is so important and central to what we do.
First Photos As A Married Couple
For their wedding vows Rachael and John chose an intimate church ceremony. After the happy couple had made their marriage official they moved outside to for their first photographs taken together. The church had the most beautiful stone walls. These made a fantastic backdrop for wedding photos. Rachael was such a beautiful bride and we love the photos of the back of her dress. She looked so elegant and it made a wonderful picture. We let our couples have the freedom to design their day how they want. It’s totally up to them how much time they want to dedicate to their photography on the day. Choosing an experienced photographer who knows Browsholme well ensures you don’t have to spend lots of time away from your guests. We know where the best places are for photos.
Photographing Natural Moments
Capturing natural moments is central to our wedding photography style. Wedding days are full of so much joy and emotion. Being able to capture this through photos is such a pleasure. We were certainly not short of things to photograph at Rachael and John’s Browsholme Hall wedding! All the guests were so animated in their excitement for the couple. After the ceremony it was lovely to see everyone passing on their congratulations to the newlyweds. We recommend couples don’t have a traditional receiving line after their ceremony. Instead, we think it’s better to let this part of the day flow naturally. The line can take up quite a bit of time which your photographer could spend photographing all those beautiful natural moments. For larger weddings at Browsholme Hall we suggest a second photographer to ensure no moment is missed.

Portrait Photography at Browsholme Hall
Browsholme Hall is a stunning wedding venue. The hall itself offers a sense of grandeur and works so well as the backdrop to wedding photos with its beautiful stone walls. It was a pleasure to capture the happy couples wedding portraits at this wonderful venue. They were so relaxed and their excitement about the day really shone through in the images. Some of our couples are a bit nervous having their photograph taken. We have compiled a few top tips for getting the best wedding portraits to help put any worries to rest. We don’t spend a lot of time setting up the perfect pose. Instead, Shane gives some direction of how to stand and then lets the couple interact. You can’t force a moment. Having a relaxed attitude to wedding photography always delivers the best images. We find that couples choosing Browsholme Hall and Tithe Barn for their wedding really want this natural style of photography which compliments the choice of venue so well.
The Tithe Barn At Browsholme
The remainder of the wedding day was held at Browsholme Hall’s Tithe Barn. It’s a delight to take wedding photos in the Tithe Barn. The room looked amazing. Strings of fairy lights added ambience and soft light. Wedding photos in the Tithe Barn aren’t complete without the speeches. Reactions from wedding guests during the speeches make for great photos. These also look brilliant in a wedding album. They really help to tell the story of the day! Rachael and John’s wedding was full of fun and the speeches were no exception. The barn provides a beautiful rustic backdrop to these images.

Party All Night!
The final part of any wedding is the party. Rachael and John’s party was wilder than most and we are sure it went on all night! Photo booth props found their way onto the dance floor which made for some hilarious wedding photos. We really value these fun and carefree moments and know that our couples want to capture them in their wedding photos too. This is why we include full day coverage in our packages, from bridal preparation right through into the evening party. Shane started off his photography career working in the super clubs of Ibiza. Incorporating this style of photography into weddings is so much fun.
