Grade II Listed
The Hall itself is from the Georgian era. As such it has wonderful original features and has obtained grade II listed status. After changing hands to the Pugh family in 2015 Garthmyl Hall has been lovingly restored. Since opening in 2016 this venue has become hugely sought after. Their first year as an exclusive venue saw many luxury weddings take place, cementing Garthmyl Hall as one of the top wedding venues in the Shropshire area. At the Hall there are multiple locations to host wedding ceremonies. Perhaps one of the most stunning is in the walled garden. It provides a beautiful and tranquil ceremony space. The bride walks through a secret garden flanked with roses to the bandstand to say her vows. Outdoor ceremonies are a photographers dream. Natural light is at its absolute best outside, with an outdoor ceremony your wedding photographer can take the best images.

Intimate Ceremonies
Sadly the weather sometimes gets in the way of an outdoor ceremony. Garthmyl Hall has the perfect solution, their summer house. This space is very intimate which is perfect for smaller ceremonies. The reason we love this space is the rustic white washed brick walls and the glass ceiling. Airy and beautiful, the room is flooded with natural light. Garthmyl Hall wedding photography benefits so much from the clever use of windows. Whilst renovating the owners have carefully considered keeping rooms light to make for the best wedding pictures.

At Garthmyl Hall the grounds can accommodate more than just garden games. Couples can choose to have a tipi or yurt. For couples getting married in the colder months there are lots of indoor locations perfect for photos. One of the interior locations which stands out the most in wedding photography is the glamorous ballroom. With space to seat up to 60 dinner guests this room is a grand choice. The gilt ceilings are sure to make an impression. Regardless of the season and the weather Garthmyl Hall weddings are always beautiful.
Wedding Marquee
As well as unique wedding ceremony spaces Garthmyl Hall also caters for the wedding reception. Newlyweds can use both the main hall and the marquee. The marquee is connected directly to the hall so it benefits from full access to the buildings amenities. A fantastic feature of the marquee is the removable sides. This gives the illusion of dining alfresco which is amazing in the summer months. The custom made marquee lets natural light pour in which benefits Garthmyl Hall wedding photography no end.

A private and tranquil retreat
The exterior of the property also presents many opportunities for wedding photography. Garthmyl Hall is set in 5 acres of grounds. Time and effort has been put into restoring the acres of land to create a private and tranquil retreat. Aside from being an idyllic backdrop there are also functional areas. The Victorian garden is the perfect place for a game of croquet. Garden games are a fantastic way to entertain guests. We love when guests are focused on having fun, it means everyone is more relaxed and makes it so easy to take natural photographs.
