A venue for all seasons
Capesthorne Hall is a venue for all seasons. During the spring and summer months the gardens come alive. Engaged couples have the option to get married next to one of the fabulous lakes. Imagine the amazing wedding photography a lakeside ceremony would provide! For the colder months couples can make the most of the fantastic interiors. With carefully handpicked furnishings, Capesthorne Hall oozes stately glamour. Feel like a lord and lady for your special day! A great place to take pictures at Capesthorne Hall is the grand staircase. The bright colours make the photos pop.
Indoor vs outdoor
With how temperamental our British weather is, it can be tricky to decide on an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Luckily Capesthorne Hall weddings have the option of both. If a last minute change needs to be made the team at Capesthorne can accommodate this. The experienced and professional staff at Capesthorne Hall will have considered every eventuality and have a plan B laid out. The same is to be said for your photographer who will have pre planned what to do come rain or shine. Even if it rains couples can be sure they will have beautiful ceremony pictures.
Exclusive use of The Hall
At Capesthorne Hall couples get the exclusivity of the whole venue for their day. Photographers can have free reign around the venue without restrictions. Some of the best pictures are taken from a balcony or a window, your photographer will have pre planned locations to get the best shots. This sometimes means going here, there and everywhere. Capesthorne Hall wedding photography is best captured through natural images. Our ethos is centred around telling the story of the day through clean and crisp photographs. We like to keep posing to a minimum and let the natural emotion be the star.
Advice from Shane: How to get the best bridal preparation photography
Getting the best photographs
We suggest meeting your photographer in person or over a video consultation before the wedding day. It’s key for the couple to be happy and comfortable with their choice of photographer. If you feel a bit uncomfortable it will show in your photos. Taking the time to have a sit down together makes a huge difference. Being able to talk through different options is invaluable. It gives them a clear idea of your priorities. Want a really nice portrait of grandma and the grandchildren? That’s the kind of thing we need to know before hand to plan in advance. Group wedding photography can take a lot of time, have a clear idea of what shots you want. We are on hand to help with choosing a group photo list. Our studio manager will give you an example list of shots and allow you to build from there.
