The grounds at Owen House Barn are extensive and photographers are allowed free rein all day. Your photographer can make the most of two paddocks with their own orchards, gardens, patio area and covered barn. Some of the most unique and fun pictures are taken with the animals at Owen House. With cows and goats on-site there is a lot of quirky photo opportunities! We love taking fun and interesting photos for our couples. Before the wedding day our couples can let us know any ideas they have for their wedding photography. Or they can leave it all up to us on the day! We let our couples we ask involved (or not!) as they want to be with their pictures. Photos with the animals at Owen House make a great addition to the wedding album alongside the more natural photos.

Family-run venue

Owen House Barn is a family-run venue. As such it has a really relaxed vibe. It’s the perfect place to capture natural wedding pictures. The surrounding countryside makes a serene backdrop for portraits of the newlyweds at Owen House. There are also some fun twists like giant bails of hay and even four-legged friends you can nip and have a visit to, certainly makes for some unique wedding photos. Beware the goats don’t try and have a go at your wedding dress, they will eat anything!
