Rustic Weddings In The Barn

Sandhole Oak Barn is a stunning location for a rustic wedding. This wedding theme has become increasingly popular in recent years because of the natural and relaxed approach. Most couples want to enjoy their wedding day without it being too formal, a barn wedding is great for this approach. Newlyweds can be carefree without compromising on the aesthetic. Another benefit to barn weddings, particularly ceremonies, is the natural light. Often churches present difficulties for wedding photographers. They can be very dark and have small windows. At Sandhole Oak Barn the windows allow natural light to flood in which will benefit the photography greatly.

Relaxed wedding photography so that you can make the most of your day

Shane’s relaxed approach has been perfected so that you can get the maximum enjoyment out of your wedding day. So many photographers will take the bride and groom away from guests for 1 hour or longer. Because of this, you’ll often miss the most important part of your wedding – spending time with you family and friends.

Some of Shane’s best Sandhole Oak Barn wedding pictures are of natural moments during the drinks reception. After a 30 minute ceremony inside the oak barn, you’ll be itching to hug your friends and family with excitement. Moments like this are so important and Shane makes sure he’s there to capture all of this for you.

Only afterwards will he take some relaxed portraits of the bride and groom. Often Shane will wait for the sun to start setting and, if you’re lucky, your Sandhole Oak Barn wedding photography will feature golden light.

Full day coverage as standard – including the party!

You only get married once. So why settle for anything less than the best?

Shane firmly believes in providing the best photography services to his clients. This means going above and beyond wherever possible.

Because of this ethos, Shane’s full day package covers everything as standard. Including photography coverage of your wedding reception and party!

All good weddings end with dancing. So why do most photographers leave straight after the first dance? Shane loves capturing natural moments and people enjoying themselves. With a background in event photography, working for the likes of Annie Mac and Creamfields Festival, Shane knows how to photograph a party.

Night time wedding pictures

Sandhole Oak Barn looks amazing at night time. We love to take advantage of the venue after sunset to capture stunning wedding portraits. Examples of Shane’s favourite portraits at night can be found in his wedding photography portfolio. At Shane Webber Photography we offer full day coverage as standard to make sure these incredible moments are captured. Often photographers leave right after the first day meaning the couple won’t get the chance to have these portraits taken. So if you’re looking for some nice Sandhole Oak Barn wedding photographs when it’s dark, Shane will be there to capture those images for you.

A night time portrait is always a great way to conclude your wedding album. The staff at Sandhole Oak Barn also light up the large tree which makes a great reflection in the lake. If the bride and groom are up for taking some night time shots, then Shane can really get creative during this time. Making use of his extensive bag of camera equipment, Shane will use his Canon flashes and video lights to create unique lighting situations. Again, looking for bright colours, Shane will often make use of the fairy lights at Sandhole Oak Barn.

More Sandhole Oak Barn wedding photography

Summer is undoubtedly the most popular time to get married at Sandhole Oak Barn. Shane has photographed many summer weddings at the barn. Due to the popularity of the venue, many couples will get married here during the week as well as the more popular weekend dates. As Shane is a local wedding photographer, he’s available for midweek weddings too. Shane will book often years in advance for the most popular summer dates, enquiring early is advised.

The best thing about summer weddings at Sandhole Oak Barn is that sunset isn’t until late. Often the sun will set between 8pm and 10pm in the height of summer. Because the wedding breakfast usually finishes around 7pm, after dinner is a great time to head back out for some more pictures. Wedding guests are normally more relaxed after a meal and a few glasses of wine. Everyone has settled in and have got used to having a wedding photographer around. Therefore the natural moments will be happening regularly as guests get in the mood to party. Also, Sandhole Oak Barn gets a fantastic sunset. Alice and Hannah’s summer wedding showcased spectacular golden light that made some incredible images.

Sandhole Oak Barn is also a wonderful venue for winter weddings. Winter wedding photography creates some challenges in terms of weather and lack of daylight. Therefore it’s crucial to book a photographer with lots of experience. Using only the best professional camera gear, Shane is able to capture high quality images in low light situations without using flash. Prime lenses let more light in than standard zoom lenses, whilst they also create beautiful bokeh. Avoiding the use of flash also enables Shane to be discreet and capture natural photos.

Freya and Matt’s Sandhole Oak Barn winter wedding was great fun to capture. As with all wedding photography, the best pictures are made by great moments – not sunshine. So if you’re getting married in the winter and looking for a Sandhole Oak Barn wedding photographer, you can contact us to request a brochure. We’d love to photograph your special day!
