One of our favourite venues in Liverpool has to be Constellations. This cool space is perfect for laid back couples who want to put their own style and flair into their wedding. Hannah and Andrew had beautiful wedding styling which tied into the venue very well. The outdoor space makes it a fantastic choice for a summer wedding.
Getting Glammed Up
The day started at bridal preparation capturing Hannah and her bridesmaids getting glammed up. Hannah’s wedding style was simple and elegant. She chose a floor length lace wedding dress topped off with a modern tiara. The flower girls all looked so sweet in their white summer dresses, each finished off with a little person sized bouquet of flowers to match the bride.

Church Ceremony
Once the bridal party were ready they moved onto the church for the wedding ceremony. Andrew had the nervous wait at the end of the aisle for the bride. When getting married in a church we advise checking before hand what restrictions if any there are on photography. Sometimes it differs from minster to minister but other churches have a blanket rule. It’s not uncommon for the photographer to only be able to capture images from the front of the church. This means lovely moments like the groom’s reaction to the bride or the nervous waiting photos won’t be captured. If getting the pictures are the most important to you we would suggest getting married at a licensed venue. Wedding venues are very accommodating to photographers and really appreciate how important these images are to their couples.
Quirky Touches
Hannah and Andrew had a wedding bus take all the guests from the church to Constellations. We loved this quirky touch, both practical and makes for great photos! When having a wedding in the city centre booking transport for all your guests from the ceremony to the reception saves loads of time on the day. The more time saved means more time having fun! Once all the guests had arrived the wedding got into full swing. It was such a beautiful summers day in Liverpool, everyone could enjoy the outdoor terrace at Constellations whilst Shane captured natural images.

Making The Wedding Unique
Just before the guests descended into the reception room Shane took a few images of the venue styling. Hannah and Andrew chose modern and simple decorations which fit beautifully with Constellations Liverpool’s industrial feel. There were loads of beautiful little touches like ‘H+A’ branded boxes to take away a slice of cake in. These final touches can really make a wedding feel unique. It set up the room beautifully for photographs of the speeches. Whilst details are not the most important aspect of a wedding they do enhance wedding photos. Urban Wedding Photos
Afterward Shane and the couple ventured out onto the streets of Liverpool to capture a few urban wedding photos. Working in a city provides lots of unique and interesting photo opportunities that can’t be achieved in a rural wedding. Most of our weddings are in large country estates, as a result we relish the opportunity to work somewhere different. This is one of the reasons we love Constellations Liverpool.
