The big day at The Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel
Ashleigh and James got married at the Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel in Cheshire and I was lucky enough to photograph their big day. The hotel offers some nice green spaces for Pinewood On Wilmslow Hotel wedding photography.
We had a meeting in Starbucks where we had a coffee and discussed Ashleigh and James’ wedding plans. It didn’t take long to realise how much effort Ashleigh had put into planning her wedding and she had even hand made loads of the details and decorations.
Handmade details add a an extra element to table decorations. We love it when couples put their own personality into the day.
As a wedding photographer it’s always lovely to hear why a couple has chosen you to capture their big day. The newlyweds loved my natural, colourful and creative wedding photography. Learn more about my photography style.
Wedding preparation at The Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel
On the day I met Ashleigh and her bridesmaids at the Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel where they were getting ready and drinking champagne. The groom, James, had surprised Ashleigh with some beautiful gifts and in the package were 5 hunky mini-men which were for hanging onto champagne glasses. Needless to say, these hunks provided much amusement!
James and his best man were at the bar (naturally) where they were struggling to pin their flowers onto their suits. YouTube saved the day…
The couples beautiful ceremony was filled with many tears and lots of laughter, the emotion was at the centre of the Pinewood On Wilmslow Hotel wedding photography.
The newlyweds then walked back down the aisle as guests blowed bubbles (rather than throwing confetti) to congratulate them. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Mitchell!
One of the highlights of the day was definitely the speeches. The best man truly embarrassed the groom with his slideshow presentation revealing what the pair get up to on their nights out! At points I really had to concentrate on not laughing so that I could carry with the Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel wedding photography.
8pm = party time. And this was definitely one of the best wedding parties ever witnessed! The DJ had the crowd rocking and ‘Milkshake’ by Kelis went down a storm… mainly with the guys which is slightly concerning. The party continued through until 11pm when I decided it was time to call it a night just as the groomsmen came running onto the dance floor with the hotel towels around their waists.
