Anita and Tom’s wedding was all about having an amazing party. From the first meeting with the couple we knew that this wedding was going to be a blast. The bride and groom have such a fun and happy energy which translated beautifully into their wedding photos. Belle Epoque is a fantastic venue for a party focused wedding as it has an intimate and relaxed setting where everyone can feel comfortable to unwind.
Morning Preparation Photos
During the morning photos were captured of both bride and groom preparation. Tom chose a blue three piece suit from Jennis & Warmann. His look was finished off with a lovely watch presented as a wedding gift. Often couples exchange gifts on the morning of their wedding to each other and their bridesmaids and groomsmen. We have come up with a few gift ideas to help couples choose the right present for each special person.
After capturing photos of Tom it was time to see the bride. Anita and her bridesmaids were sipping champagne in their matching dressing gowns whilst getting their hair and make up finished. The bride chose a beautiful design from Maggie Sottero for her wedding dress and looked beautiful.
Belle Epoque Wedding Ceremony
The couple had their wedding ceremony at Belle Epoque in one of their beautiful rooms. After they had officially become husband and wife everyone filtered out to the gorgeous outdoor space at the venue. The terrace at Belle Epoque is perfect for natural wedding photos. The moments just after the wedding ceremony are some of the best for natural photography. As everyone well wishes the couple the emotion shines through making for amazing photos.
Natural Moments
Belle Epoque is a venue which is known for its incredible food so everyone was looking forward to the wedding breakfast! Before getting stuck in the speeches started proceedings. This is always one of the highlights of the day for a wedding photographer. Natural moments are what really makes wedding pictures and the speeches deliver all emotions. The room at Belle Epoque was decorated beautifully making a lovely backdrop for the photos.

Picturesque Setting
Afterward Anita and Tom ventured onto the picturesque streets of Knutsford to capture their portraits. One of our favourite photos from the wedding day is of the newlyweds simply holding hands and walking down the cobbled streets. The natural look between them shows how happy they are as a couple. Only a short time is needed to take wedding portraits. Shane likes to take the couple aside a couple of times during the day as the light offers different qualities at different times.
Fantastic Party
As mentioned previously Antia and Tom really wanted to have a fantastic party at their wedding. This goal was certainly achieved! Everyone took to the dance floor and partied late into the night. We knew it was going to be a fun party when the shots of tequila started to flow! Having a background in event photography Shane really enjoys capturing these party moments to document parts of the day which many guests won’t recall in the morning.
