As it’s Father’s Day today, we thought it would be fitting to take a look back over some of our favourite father of the bride moments. Seeing your daughter get married is a really special moment for Dad’s. As a wedding photographer I get to share in some of these memorable moments and document them to be preserved for generations. One of the many reasons why photographing weddings is such an awesome job!

This is one of Rebecca’s favourite photographs from the day. She even made a special request for it’s inclusion in the selection of photographs chosen for the upcoming feature on Brides Up North. The photograph was also printed full page in her wedding album!
Some of the best father of the bride moments are when emotion gets the better of them. This photograph is a beautiful example of a proud and emotional Dad, taken at Hayley and Dan’s wedding.

The toast from the father of the bride is always very touching. Rebecca’s Dad did a great job of getting everyone teary eyed in this special and emotional moment.
Capturing natural moments like this is a key part of my wedding photography style. Real moments are always the best!
As a father, walking your daughter down the aisle is an incredibly significant life event. It’s a moment I love to capture for brides to look back on and enjoy. You can’t beat a bit of father daughter love.
