Ufton Court is a stunning wedding venue in the Berkshire countryside. This barn venue appeals to couples looking for a laid-back and rustic style wedding. As a recommended wedding supplier at Ufton Court we have the pleasure of photographing a number of weddings a year at the venue. One of our favourite weddings here was Harriet and Andy’s. Their beautiful wedding styling is sure to provide plenty of inspiration. We also invite couples looking to tie the knot here to take a look at this gorgeous Ufton Court Barn Wedding.
Amazing Photos At Bridal Preparation
As always the day began at bridal preparation which is one of our favourite parts of the day to capture. The mood is always so fantastic and Harriet had put a lot of effort into making it a special experience for her and her bridesmaids. Getting amazing photos at bridal preparation is something we love to do. We have curated a list of tips for getting the best bridal preparation photos – we recommend all brides to have a read through before the big day!
Time For Portraits
Before heading over to the church Harriet and her bridesmaids took a few portrait photos. It’s important to set aside a bit of extra time to capture these images. In our experience, these are the kind of photos people love to frame – plus they look great in your wedding album. Fitting in a few photos with bridesmaids and parents before the ceremony is highly recommended. Make the most out of having a professional photographer with you for the day! We also love photographing the beautiful natural moments at bridal preparation. A black and white photo of Harriet with her two flower girls is a favourite of ours!
Confetti Moment
We were blessed with unseasonably beautiful weather which allowed for lovely natural photos outside of the church. After the ceremony, the couple had their confetti shot moment. It’s always best getting these pictures outside if possible. Taking an amazing confetti photo is harder than it may seem. If you’re unsure whether confetti is for you read our blog on confetti at weddings. Afterwards, it was time for the group photos. St James Church in Bramley had a beautiful walled garden which was the perfect spot for these pictures.
Bright, Colourful And Natural
As it was such a stunning day outside more group photos were taken at Ufton Court. Good weather is fantastic for photographers as everyone wants to be outside having their photo taken! Then it was onto couple portraits. Years of experience has enabled Shane to hone his style of photography. Bright, colourful and natural portraits are at the heart of what we do. Ufton Court’s gardens are the perfect place to capture these images. We love to photograph couples in a way that feels natural. Guidance is given to create shape but the moments between bride and groom are real. Shane is laidback and allows couples to feel comfortable in the moment. When you look at Harriet and Andy’s portraits you can see the love between them – something which can’t be posed!

Couples Portraits
Once the meal was finished guests were able to enjoy the incredible weather. Early May weddings can be quite chilly but the newlyweds enjoyed summer holiday temperatures! The glorious sunshine allowed Shane to create a golden tone to portraits of the couple. Using the available natural light to create this hazy summer day effect is part of Shane’s style of wedding photography. Harriet and Andy were naturals in front of the camera and looked fantastic together in the photos. The portraits captured of the two of them are one of the reasons this is our favourite Ufton Court wedding.
